Overview

Premium rice or Basmati rice is a high-quality rice that offers a delicious taste and texture, along with a host of nutritional benefits. The rice undergoes a meticulous milling process to remove its outer husk, bran and germ layers to reveal a distinctive white appearance. Removing the outer layers extends storage life and makes the rice more resistant to oxidation and degradation. Unlike other types of rice, premium rice is enriched with added minerals and vitamins to increase its already strong nutritional value as a natural source of carbohydrates and proteins. Versatile and gluten-free, rice is generally well-tolerated, and low in fat and sodium. It has only 200 calories per cup!
